‘Weeping in the promised land’, la emocionante canción de John Fogerty en tiempos convulsos

Tras ocho años sin ninguna nueva composición, John Fogerty, legendario líder de la Creedence Clearwater Revival, ha estrenado en este inicio del 2021 ‘Weeping in the promised land‘,  una canción extraordinariamente emotiva, reflexiva, llena de conciencia social y muy acorde a los complejos tiempos que estamos viviendo.

En ella, con el acompañamiento instrumental de su piano, hay alusiones al gobierno de Trump, al Black Lives Matter con la muerte de George Floyd, o al médico Anthony Fauci por los ataques sufridos con su implicación en el COVID. Algunos están llorando en la llamada Tierra Prometida.
